The prostate makes fluid that forms part of semen and uses its strength to help a man ejaculate.

Even though many men are fans of prostate stimulation, others are reluctant to explore the location of the male g spot.

Since it sits close to the anal canal, the only way to experience its effects is by entering the anus. Using the prostate to produce strong sexual sensations is perfectly normal and should grow more and more comfortable with each attempt.

Once a man becomes familiar with the location of the male g spot, there is a good chance that he will make it a regular part of his sex life.

Partners who are willing to experiment with prostate stimulation are not hesitant about the general location of the male g spot; it all stems back to creating a mutually satisfying sex life between two open partners as the result of highly arousing exploration.

Sometimes, the location of the male g spot may be even easier for a partner to find because they can move about more freely and provide stimulation in other areas.

Although the location of the male g spot appears to be part of the anal canal or rectum, it is separate from both. However, because of its placement, it can only be touched indirectly through the anus.

Exploring this area alone or with a partner will produce astonishing effects that overshadow any other type of orgasm.

The location of the male g spot encourages a new kind of exploration that can be done while masturbating or as part of a couple’s conventional sex life.

Since the location of the male g spot is found via such a delicate area, it is important to use plenty of lubrication.

It is also crucial to remain as relaxed as possible and work very slowly, using a finger or anal toy. Always buy toys specially designed for anal use, since they feature some type of hook or stopping device to prevent the toy from traveling too far into the anal canal.
Due to the location of the male g spot, it is necessary to move carefully and take the necessary steps to make the experience as comfortable as possible

Masturbation Tips and Techniques for Men.

Learn some real kinky masturbation tips to add a bit of spice to your sex life. Virtually no one was taught about sex and pleasure as a young person in this society. We are all left to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.

Today it's an easier process because of the information culture that we have created. It is still difficult, though, to get quality information. And you don't really want to get it from Cosmopolitan or Redbook because of the unrealistic spin that women's magazines tend to put on most subjects they write about. If you are getting a lot of your sexual knowledge from sex magazines or pornography, you're really going to be confused and possibly let down

There are many things to learn about love and one of its expressions: sex. But there are a handful of things that each individual can learn that will not only enhance their experience of orgasm and sexual relating but will benefit their health and quality of life, too. These are easy things to learn and they have the potential to change your life for the better. These Keys are essential for your experience of enlightened sex.

Breath
Breathing is not a conscious activity for most humans. We expect to just know how to do it. Yet the key to greater health and vitality, experiences of expanded consciousness, and the full body orgasm is mastery of the breath. Yogis place a great emphasis on learning to deepen and lengthen the breath. Becoming conscious of the breath and its patterns is the first step in the process to expanding orgasm.

Deep breathe into your belly first. Practice breathing and filling your belly with air first, then let your lungs and upper chest area expand. Be gentle on yourself if you find this difficult at first but keep practicing. Breathe slowly and fully.

Focus on the out breath. By shifting your mind's focus on the out breath you will practice making breathing more conscious but you will also squeeze more of the old, stale air from your lings which allows for a lot more fresh air to enter them. This is a mindfulness practice you can use while meditating, too.

Kegels
Kegel exercises facilitate the flow of blood to your genitals and they keep your pelvic floor muscles, or PC muscles, healthy. If you do these twice a day, you are going to notice a difference. Both men and women need to strengthen their PC muscles and use them.

Practice breathing and combining it with doing Kegel exercises. An advanced form of this breathing exercise involves tightening your PC muscles on the in breath and let them go on the out breath. This takes a little focus, but it is well worth it. When taken into a Tantric lovemaking situation both partners can breathe and tighten together or they can alternate their breathing and tightening to create a gentle back and forth motion. The back and forth alternating breathing also makes it easier to exchange pheromones and other sex attractant chemicals that escape via the breath.

Stay Conscious and Present
Eye gazing with your partner will put you in full awareness and bring you to the "present" with your lover. Leaving the lights on or lighting candles during sex with eyes open is the best way to be bonded with your partner. When you are fully available, open to being seen, your capacity for merging and orgasm goes way up.

Eye gazing produces oxytocin, the bonding neurotransmitter. If you want to be more bonded with your partner, then introduce eye gazing practices anytime you want to feel more connected and definitely before lovemaking. Once you get used to relating in this way, you won't want to go back to the dark.

Staying conscious when you are touching your lover is easy to do when you focus on your own great feelings as the Giver of the touch. Focus on your hands, fingers and body and how they are feeling. If your fingers are receiving pleasure from the touch that they are giving, then you can bet on the fact that your lover is having a good time too. If you, as the Giver, are feeling erotic then the Receiver will perceive that quality of the touch you are giving.

Sound
Making noise during sexual play is a turn-on and helps us know where our partner is in the sexual response cycle. The signs of arousal and stimulation, especially in women, are very hard to interpret even with sound added. It's almost physically impossible to make deep sounds while in orgasm and hold your pelvic region tight at the same time. Moaning opens up the pelvic region and relaxes the genital area, greatly enhancing the full body orgasms that follow. Practice by yourself first if you feel self-conscious about it.

Know Your Own Body
It is vitally important to know your body and what pleasures it -- in detail. If you don't, then how do you expect your lover to know ... and how will you tell them what turns you on? They really don't want to be mind readers, so don't expect them to be and then, when they fail, judge them harshly. Men actually love having their lovers instruct them, especially, if it is done lovingly and with an air of playfulness.

This means that you need to practice self-loving at least some of the time. Where are you the most sensitive on your clitoris? Do you like your scrotum to be gently messaged during oral sex? Have you located and messaged your G-spot effectively? Do certain acts cause you to ejaculate more quickly? There are so many things to know and it's very fun to explore them so that you bring yourself fully to lovemaking. Your partner will appreciate you more for being able to tell them!

Relax
Learn to relax and enjoy pleasure. A relaxed body leads to a more relaxed attitude, which will lead to a more relaxed life. Stress is the number one libido killer. When you're anxious you can't focus your attention very well. Great sex requires focus and attention giving by both parties.

If you practice the deep belly breathing exercises, they will help you combat stress. In particular, if you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, while breathing into your belly, you will actively lower your blood pressure within minutes. Lower blood pressure is sign of relaxation.

Both men and women have fuller, deeper orgasms when relaxed. The orgasmic energy can travel throughout their bodies more fully and produce the ecstatic feelings you desire. Men can last longer when they learn to fully relax. In high states of arousal, if a man deeply relaxes he has the possibility of having multiple orgasms without ejaculating.

Mind/Body/Spirit
Your mind is your biggest erogenous zone. Mind/Body/Spirit consciousness is a real thing. How you think, perceive, feel, respond, react -- everything you do in life gets clearer and more enhanced when you us the tools available to have your mind and your body work in unison. When this happens your "spirit" falls into place and expands because the "you" knows and feels more integrated.

For great sex and great orgasms to happen, the mind can't be wandering and expect the body to just do its thing. You don't work that way. Just remember the last time you tried to have an orgasm, women, and your thoughts were in the kitchen, the office or with the kids. It didn't work, did it. How about getting that firm erection you wanted the last time you were going to make love, guys? The more you worried about it, the less you seemed to respond, right?

Practicing some of these very simple techniques can make the difference when it comes to expanding your pleasure potential. They are universal for men and women, singles and couples. It's all about life -- healthy lifestyles that increase your body's capacity for pleasure, orgasm, focus, healthy living and erotic connection.

Virginity: A Very Personal Decision

Sometimes it might seem like everyone in school is talking about who's a virgin, who isn't, and who might be. For both girls and guys, the pressure can sometimes be intense.

But deciding whether it's right for you to have sex is one of the most important decisions you'll ever have to make. Each person must use his or her own judgment and decide if it's the right time — and the right person.

This means considering some very important factors — both physical ones, like the possibility of becoming pregnant or getting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) — and emotional factors, too. Though a person's body may feel ready for sex, sex also has very serious emotional consequences.

For many teens, moral factors are very important as well. Family attitudes, personal values, or religious beliefs provide them with an inner voice that guides them in resisting pressures to get sexually involved before the time is right.

Peer Pressure Problems and Movie Madness

Nobody wants to feel left out of things — it's natural to want to be liked and feel as if you're part of a group of friends. Unfortunately, some teens feel that they have to lose their virginity to keep up with their friends or to be accepted.

It doesn't sound like it's all that complicated; maybe most of your friends have already had sex with their boyfriends or girlfriends and act like it isn't a big deal. But sex isn't something that's only physical; it's emotional, too. And because everyone's emotions are different, it's hard to rely on your friends' opinions to decide if it's the right time for you to have sex.

What matters to you is the most important thing, and your values may not match those of your friends. That's OK — it's what makes people unique. Having sex to impress someone or to make your friends happy or feel like you have something in common with them won't make you feel very good about yourself in the long run. True friends don't really care whether a person is a virgin — they will respect your decisions, no matter what.

Even if your friends are cool with your decision, it's easy to be misled by TV shows and movies into thinking that every teen in America is having sex. Writers and producers may make a show or movie plot exciting by showing teens being sexually active, but these teens are actors, not real people with real concerns. They don't have to worry about being ready for sex, how they will feel later on, or what might happen as a result. In other words, these TV and movie plots are stories, not real life. In real life, every teen can, and should, make his or her own decision.

Boyfriend Blues or Girlfriend Gripes

Although some teens who are going out don't pressure each other about sex, the truth is that in many relationships, one person wants to have sex although the other one doesn't.

Again, what matters most differs from person to person. Maybe one person in a relationship is more curious and has stronger sexual feelings than the other. Or another person has religious reasons why he or she doesn't want to have sex and the other person doesn't share those beliefs.

Whatever the situation, it can place stress and strain on a relationship — you want to keep your boyfriend or girlfriend happy, but you don't want to compromise what you think is right.

As with almost every other major decision in life, you need to do what is right for you and not anyone else. If you think sex is a good idea because a boyfriend or girlfriend wants to begin a sexual relationship, think again.

Anyone who tries to pressure you into having sex by saying, "if you truly cared, you wouldn't say no," or "if you loved me, you'd show it by having sex" isn't really looking out for you and what matters most to you. They're looking to satisfy their own feelings and urges about sex.

If someone says that not having sex after doing other kinds of fooling around will cause him or her physical pain, that's also a sign that that person is thinking only of himself or herself. If you feel that you should have sex because you're afraid of losing that person, it may be a good time to end the relationship.

Sex should be an expression of love — not something a person feels that he or she must do. If a boyfriend or girlfriend truly loves you, he or she won't push or pressure you to do something you don't believe in or aren't ready for yet.

Feeling Curious

You might have a lot of new sexual feelings or thoughts. These feelings and thoughts are totally normal — it means that all of your hormones are working properly. But sometimes your curiosity or sexual feelings can make you feel like it's the right time to have sex, even though it may not be.

Though your body may have the ability to have sex and you may really want to satisfy your curiosity, it doesn't mean your mind is ready. Although some teens understand how sex can affect them emotionally, many don't — and this can lead to confusion and deeply hurt feelings later.

But at the same time, don't beat yourself up or be too hard on yourself if you do have sex and then wish you hadn't. Having sexual feelings is normal and handling them can sometimes seem difficult, even if you planned otherwise. Just because you had sex once doesn't mean you have to continue or say yes later on, no matter what anyone tells you. Making mistakes is not only human, it's a major part of being a teen — and you can learn from mistakes.

Why Some Teens Wait

Some teens are waiting longer to have sex — they are thinking more carefully about what it means to lose their virginity and begin a sexual relationship.

For these teens, there are many reasons for abstinence (not having sex). Some don't want to worry about unplanned pregnancy and all its consequences. Others see abstinence as a way to protect themselves completely from STDs. Some STDs (like AIDS) can literally make sex a life-or-death situation, and many teens take this very seriously.

Some teens don't have sex because their religion prohibits it or because they simply have a very strong belief system of their own. Other teens may recognize that they aren't ready emotionally and they want to wait until they're absolutely sure they can handle it.

When it comes to sex, there are two very important things to remember: one, that you are ultimately the person in charge of your own happiness and your own body; and two, you have a lot of time to wait until you're totally sure about it. If you decide to put off sex, it's OK — no matter what anyone says. Being a virgin is one of the things that proves you are in charge, and it shows that you are powerful enough to make your own decisions about your mind and body.

If you find yourself feeling confused about decisions related to sex, you may be able to talk to an adult (like a parent, doctor, older sibling, aunt, or uncle) for advice. Keep in mind, though, that everyone's opinion about sex is different. Even though another person may be able to share useful advice, in the end, the decision is up to you.

Why Are My Breasts Different Sizes?

Having different-sized breasts is perfectly normal. It's quite common for girls to have different-sized breasts or nipples, especially as they develop during puberty. Everyone's different, and no two women's breasts will look exactly the same. In fact, asymmetry — where one body part, like a foot or a hand, is a slightly different size or shape from its partner — is quite common in humans.

When girls begin puberty, usually between the ages of 8 and 13, their breasts begin to develop starting with just a little swelling under the nipple. This is known as breast budding. You may notice that one of your breasts starts developing before the other or that one is growing more quickly. Many times this difference in breast size evens out once a girl is older, usually by age 20. But it's also perfectly normal for women's breasts to remain different sizes even when they're fully developed.

Some girls with different-sized breasts worry that there's something medically wrong, but chances are, for a teen, there isn't. If you're really worried about your breast size, talk to your doctor or gynecologist. He or she should be able to reassure you that your breasts are normal.

Girls who notice their breasts are different sizes are aware of their breasts — and that's good news. Being aware of your breasts can help you stay healthy! Learning how your breasts normally look (and feel) can help you notice any changes that might not be normal. Your doctor can teach you how to do a breast self-exam (BSE) that will help you become familiar with your breasts so you can identify any changes.

Some girls worry about their different-sized breasts for cosmetic reasons. Many girls with different-sized breasts or nipples just accept that they are normal and don't do anything differently. But other girls feel self-conscious. It's likely that no one else notices your breasts look different, though. Other people usually can't see the difference in the size of a girl's breasts — even if that difference is a full cup size.

The fact is that exercises, supplements, or diets won't change the size or shape of a girl's breasts — only plastic surgery can do that. (And most doctors recommend that a girl wait until her breasts have finished growing before considering plastic surgery.) Some girls decide to wear especially supportive bras or special inserts that make their breasts appear more equal in size. Talk to a lingerie salesperson if you want some suggestions for evening things out. It may also help to talk to your mom, older sister, or an aunt or grandmother — they may have worried about having different-sized breasts during their teen years, too.

Everyone develops differently, and it's normal for the two sides of our bodies to be a little different from each other. We humans aren't as evenly proportioned as we appear at first glance!

Is My Penis Normal?

Just about every guy wonders how he measures up in the "down-there" department at one time or another. Here's the lowdown for any guy who's ever worried about whether his penis is a normal size.

There's a fairly wide range of normal penis sizes — just as there is for every other body part. And just like other parts of the body, how a penis appears at different stages of a guy's life varies quite a bit. You wouldn't expect someone who is 11 years old to look the same as someone who's 19.

Guys normally develop at different times. Some may start developing as early as 9. Others may not start developing until 15 or even later. The age at which a guy starts to grow varies from person to person. It all depends on when he enters puberty and his hormones start doing their thing.

Growth in penis size is just one part of puberty, which also includes such changes as pubic hair development, testicular growth, muscle development, and a growth spurt. Late starters almost always catch up fine — they just reach full maturity a little later.

Penises come in different sizes, shapes, and colors. These traits are hereditary, like eye color or foot size, and there's nothing you can do to change them. Despite what you may hear or read, no special exercises, supplements, or diets will speed up the development process or change a guy's size. Also, like his feet, a guy's penis may appear smaller to him just because the perspective is different when he's looking down. And there's a lot less difference in penis size between guys when they get an erection (a "boner" or "hard on") than when their penises are relaxed.

In addition to size, guys also wonder about other aspects of how their penises look, such as whether the skin covering the penis is normal or if it's OK for a guy's penis to hang to the left or right (it is!). If you're concerned about how your penis looks, ask your doctor. Guys who are reaching puberty should have regular testicular exams, so that's a good time to ask your doctor any questions.

Taking a ride on the hormonal roller-coaster means lots of changes — and a lot of common worries — for both guys and girls. Just as guys may wonder about how their penises develop, lots of girls ask the same thing about their breasts.

If you're wondering about your development, don't try to compare yourself to your older brother or your best friend — they're probably at a different stage of development than you are anyway. The important thing to remember is that it's OK to not be a mirror image of the guy at the next urinal.

Is It Normal to Get Erections?

Yes. Erections are a perfectly normal function of the male body, especially in guys who are going through puberty.

What Is an Erection?

An erection is a hardening of the penis that occurs when sponge-like tissue inside the penis fills up with blood. Usually, an erection causes the penis to enlarge and stand away from the body.

Erections can go away on their own or after ejaculation, the release of semen through the urethra, the small hole at the tip of the penis.

Sometimes guys ejaculate at night while sleeping (these are called nocturnal emissions or wet dreams). Guys may have several erections and arousal periods while in the REM (rapid eye movement) stage of sleep, the type of sleep in which most dreams occur.

What Causes Erections?

Although many erections are caused by sexual arousal, such as watching a sexy television show or fantasizing, many erections seem to happen for no particular reason.

So if you've had an erection in an odd or embarrassing situation - like right in the middle of a really boring history lesson - there's no reason to worry that something is wrong with you. Your body is just acting naturally for a guy your age.

Am I Getting Too Many Erections?

Because each person is so different, it's impossible to say what's a "normal" number of erections. Some guys experience many erections each day, whereas others may not experience any. Hormones fluctuate with age, sexual maturity, level of activity, and even the amount of sleep a guy gets. Unless your erections are causing you discomfort or pain, don't worry about how many you get. If you're concerned, it's a good idea to talk to your doctor. He or she can answer your questions and will probably put your mind at ease.

What Can I Do to Avoid Getting Erections?

Because erections usually aren't controllable, there's not much you can do to avoid getting them. Unless the penis is stimulated enough to ejaculate, time is the only thing that will help them go away.

As your hormones settle down and you advance through puberty, the frequency of unexpected erections and wet dreams should decrease.

Masterbation Tips You Need To Know

Let’s get one thing out of the way first, no two people masterbate the same way every time. Everyone has different techniques to use, or different times of the day even. One thing is for certain though, the goal is always the same. Reaching orgasm is essential for enjoyable masterbation. If you are having problems reaching orgasm then you should follow these masterbation tips.

One masterbating tip you should follow always is to set the mood. In order to really enjoy the experience you should be totally relaxed and in an environment in which you won’t have any distractions. Take the phone off the hook, lock the doors, and play some soft music, anything that helps you to take your mind off of your problems and enjoy what nature has to offer.

Taking a little time off to pleasure yourself is not selfish, nor wrong. Select a room in which you can lie down, or sit comfortably, and let your inhibitions go. Usually people use a bathroom or bedroom, but any room that lets you be yourself will do. Another masterbating tip for both women and men is to take your time. Many people rush through the experience to reach the final result. That is not always the most pleasurable part of this experience. If you take the time to tease, and stimulate you will find your orgasm much more intense and enjoyable.

A masterbating tip for both men and women is to not be afraid to experiment with new techniques. Some may work for you while others may not. Try something new when given a chance so that you can find a way that makes it easier or more pleasing. Maybe you feel that it may work better with lubricant or toys. Then take the chance and try it, go right over to the sex store that you pass by and buy something to enhance your experience and your orgasm.

Try turning off the porn for a while – men, I’m talking to you. Listen to your body instead. A great tip on better masterbation is to experience the feelings. Many men are so intent on watching what is on TV that they are not using their mind, body, and emotions to really feel what is going on.

Last but not least, get your hips and your body moving. You aren’t being watched or evaluated so let your body go. Enjoy what is happening to your body. You may not know that your body moves very differently during masterbation than how it moves during sex. Men, who usually stay still, should try thrusting their hips to simulate sex.

Following these masterbation tips will allow creativity, pleasure, excitement and an all around better orgasm. Who would want that?

Having Fun with Anal Masterbation

Masterbation doesn’t have to just include your penis or your vagina. There is always the option of anal masterbation. This is something that does not have to be disgusting or shameful; this is a natural part of your body, and a part that you should use for your pleasure. Anal masterbation can be exciting for either males or females of any sexual orientation. The anus contains nerve endings that give intense pleasure that for men include the stimulation of your prostrate. For women anal masterbation stimulates the vagina. Since the muscles of the anus contract during orgasm, the presence of an object holding it open can strengthen the intensity of an orgasm for both men and women.

An important anal masterbation tip is to clean up first. It sounds simple, but it is something that people fear the most. So, take a shower first, and go to the bathroom to clear out your bowels. If you really have a phobia of coming into contact with feces then you should consider wearing a latex glove with plenty of lubricant on it so that you are more comfortable with anal masterbation.

The anus doesn’t self lubricate like the vagina so even if you are using sex toys or your finger have plenty of lubrication ready. Start by just easing a fingertip just inside the anus to see how far you can go and what feels good for you. It may be uncomfortable at first, but try to relax and enjoy the feeling without judging the act itself. Experiment by doing some clenches and releases while your finger is inside to see what feels the best for you. Notice the spots that are particularly sensitive and stay in those areas. You don’t have to try to have an orgasm the first time, just do some exploring to see what you enjoy.

Some anal masterbation techniques include sex toys which make it more fun and can also be a bit easier to manage. Anal plugs are the most common toy that people use for anal masterbation. They are typically diamond shaped with a thin neck and a thicker base which prevents them from slipping in the rectum. There is a bulge in the middle that helps the plug stay in place and for the men, it will stimulate the prostrate at the same time. Another anal masterbation technique is called the anal beads. Beads come in all shapes and sizes and are usually a series of beads with a ring on the end. It causes the muscles to contract to bring you to orgasm. There are also anal dildos that are thinner than normal dildos making it easier to insert. Anal dildos also come with different levels of vibration for more pleasure.

Whichever anal masterbation technique you go with anal masterbating can bring a new facet to your masterbation with or without a partner.

Learning How To Masterbate

You may be wondering why you are reading this, you probably already think you know how to masterbate. Most people think they do. The truth is that everyone masterbates at some point or another in their life, some do it frequently, while others merely do it to release stress or out of boredom sometimes. The question is though, do you really know how to masterbate?

The basic definition of how to masterbate is when you use your hands or another object to pleasure yourself. A man can masterbate by rubbing their penis with their hands, or an object such as a pillow. A woman masterbates by rubbing the outside of their vagina or by inserting an object such as a vibrator into their vagina. Again, this is the basic way, but there are so many different ways to masterbate to make it that much more enjoyable for you.

A new way to masterbate for a man could be the bend, pull, and squeeze. It may sound painful, but you need to try more fun ways to masterbate, so give it a chance. You merely hold your penis at the bottom while using a well lubricated hand to pull up squeezing with a little bit of pressure, and bending the shaft to the left or the right. You want a firm grip, but not too tight that it would be painful.

A new way to masterbate for a woman is the slip ‘n’ slide. You wrap a bunched up towel with saran wrap and then lubricate with a safe type of oil. Place it tightly between your legs along with a few pillows under it, and squeeze very tightly with the saran wrapped towel almost working its way into your vagina. The rocking motion as you go back and forth will give you a serious orgasmic experience.

There are so many fun ways to masterbate; you just have to find them. Use your imagination and just about anything you have in your home or in your mind can be used in some form. Items such as kitchen utensils suddenly have new meaning for women, just as broomsticks suddenly look very inviting for men. You can try both “regular” masterbation, or may you want to attempt anal masterbation either at the same time or by itself. Make an effort at finding out how to masterbate in a new and creative way to bring even more pleasure and excitement to your private moments.

Male Masterbation That Isn't Boring

Men have been masterbating basically since the dawn of time. In fact 99% of men masterbate, the other 1% lie about it. Although men and women both do it, men tend to think about it or plan it out more. Usually it is done in secret, maybe in the bathroom before work, or after the wife goes to bed. If you are lucky enough to live at home then you could masterbate all day long. Male Masterbation is usually about the final outcome, the intense pleasure that you know so well.

If you are getting bored with the basics of masterbation, then you should try some different male masterbation techniques. There are quite a few of them out there to give your hobby a new feel. One male masterbation technique that has been tried and enjoyed by man men is the Two Hands Full technique. It is a motion that is similar to milking a cow, the idea is to keep the motion going continuously by taking one hand and moving up, and follow right behind it with the other hand. It keeps the foreskin and testicles all the way up all the time so you have constant pleasure. You should use lubricant because of the fast motion, and it does take some practice but when it is done correctly you may never go back to the regular way.

Another different male masterbation technique is the pole straddling technique. Place a small pole or a broomstick between your legs and hold it steady while you masterbate. Moving up and down with your hips, you will find that as you are about to ejaculate your anus actually hugs the pole giving you an almost unbearable sensation. Again, this is one that you will have to practice before perfecting. It is worth it though.

Male masterbating techniques come in many forms and with different objects that can be involved. Here are just a few of the others:

One Top, One Bottom – Hold the top of your head with one hand, while moving your other hand down towards your testicles.

Packing Tape Technique – Wrap tape around your fingers and lubricate it to receive a whole new feeling of excitement.

Wringing It Out – Although it may look strange and painful, it is quite pleasurable. Take your penis and wring it out like you would a washcloth. Start slowly and use lubrication to avoid friction.

Glass Ball Technique – Move to the end of the bed so your testicles hang off. Place a glass underneath and let your balls fall into a tight fitting glass. Ejaculate like you normally would, pushing the glass with your testicles in it up against your perineum for an ultimate orgasm.

Again, there are many variations of techniques that can be used. Take your time and find something you like. One very important male masterbation tip to follow is to try to use the stop and go method while masterbating. Masterbate till you are just about to ejaculate and then stop for a few minutes, and then start again until you are right about to have your orgasm, and then stop again. By the time you reach the 3rd or 4th time your orgasm with be more intense and longer.

Male masterbation can be an exciting new adventure if you try different techniques. Don’t feel you have to stay with the same thing you did when you were 16 years old. Above all, the most important thing you can do is follow our guidelines for decreasing arterial aging; a clear and well-flowing vascular system promotes blood flow to every part of your body. Maintaining good blood flow is one of the best ways to make sure erectile dysfunction isn’t inevitable as you age.

Of course, Viagra, a dozen roses and picking up your socks every once in a while aren’t the only things that may do wonders for your sex life. Just a few simple changes may be all that’s needed to keep your sex organs in tip-top driving condition. So pull them in for a pit stop. We’ll show you how to change your oil -- and help keep your libidinal engines revved.

The best prescription for your sexual organs isn’t one you can find in a pharmacy. It’s one you do in bed, in the shower or on your weekend getaway. All the studies point to the fact that having sex makes you young. (By “having sex,” we mean having stress-free sex, so that’s safe sex, in which you’re protected from STDs, and sex that doesn’t induce stress, like an extramarital affair would).

What we know is that the more (for men) and higher-quality (for women) orgasms you have a year, the younger you are. If you are 55 years old, increasing the number of times you have sex from 58 times per year to 116 times has an effect of making you as much as 1.6 years younger, and having great-quality sex even more than that can have an effect up to eight years (Honey, let’s get healthy!).

Though we don’t know exactly how it works, it could be from relieving stress or by decreasing cardiovascular aging with frequent high-quality sex. Maybe just as important is the therapeutic value of sex, in that it promotes companionship and emotional satisfaction. It just feels good -- on both physical and emotional levels. Bonus: The data also implies that if a 55 year old has sex 700 times a year, it would make you 16 years younger (unfortunately, the data sample on people who fit this criteria was approximately, uh, zero).

Of course, between 70-hour workweeks and the fact that raising children is as draining as running a three-legged marathon, having time and energy for sex isn’t always as easy as it sounds. Another complication: those rivaling libido levels. When he wants it, she doesn’t. Or vice versa. Luckily, there are ways to help improve your compatibility.

Linger
Male orgasms are easy to understand -- because they’re external. But female orgasms can be more mysterious than a Dean Koontz book. That’s because many of us really don’t understand what’s happening physiologically. Essentially, when a woman is stimulated to the point of an orgasm, the uterine walls contract -- and she can experience rhythmic, muscular contractions of the uterus, vagina and clitoris.

Every woman is different. For some, an orgasm may feel like a geyser. For others, it may feel like nothing more than a momentary flutter. But here’s what many men have a hard time understanding: Because they can’t imagine having sex without an orgasm, many men can’t appreciate the fact that women can enjoy sex without having one.

So instead of trying to make the final destination a female orgasm, men should concentrate on ensuring that women enjoy the interaction. Some women don’t have to orgasm at all to enjoy sex, while some women can easily have multiple orgasms. Absence of an orgasm doesn’t mean failure, but absence of arousal usually does. When you consider that the average man achieves orgasm in three to five minutes and the average woman takes four times as long, you can also see why many women won’t achieve orgasm in every sexual encounter. Add the pressure put on many women to have orgasms, and a sexual encounter can become more stressful than tax day. And that just about guarantees a woman won’t have an orgasm.

It has been said that women fake orgasms because men fake foreplay. Therein lies one of the biggest problems between couples -- lack of compatible levels of libido or arousal. To improve a woman’s sexual desire, add more foreplay. Kiss, touch, hug, squeeze, nibble, stroke, brush, tickle, tease, add your own verb of choice. Whatever you do, just make sure you know this equation. Longer foreplay equals better lubrication, which equals more satisfaction.

To help add moisture, you can increase lubrication safely with water-soluble lubricants, like K-Y Jelly or lipid-soluble gels. And for some reason, testosterone cream -- applied directly to the clitoris twice a day -- helps increase stimulation, libido and intensity of orgasm. Testosterone is the driver of sexuality in both men and women. It naturally decreases as we age, but testosterone therapy has been shown to be effective in men with decreasing testosterone levels. How do you know if you’re in this category? Men should be concerned if they don’t have to shave their beards once a day. Thankfully, they have no such standard for women.

Get Sweaty
Though sauna sex might sound enticing, we want you to sweat from exercise. Besides all of the other benefits, physical activity is also great for your sex life. Many species dictate desire through smells. For centuries, scientists have been looking for these chemicals and pheromones that increase sexual desire in women. Of all the things that have been tested, there’s only been one that’s been shown to increase female desire: male sweat (really).

For men, there’s perhaps an even more crucial reason to sweat. Men who burn at least 200 calories a day through exercise reduce the chance of impotence. Finally, since stress can be a contributor to erectile dysfunction and infertility, it’s a great stress reducer. While you may not be able to alter the stresses in your life, you can at least alter your response to it through consistent physical activity.

Masturbation Techniques

Sometimes, a guy just needs some alone time to reconnect. Then there are times when we just want to get some satisfaction without having to seduce and take our time pleasing someone else. And so, I introduce to you masturbation techniques.

Of course, I'm not suggesting that you begin masturbating chronically and show your girl the door. Oh no. But every now and then, if you feel the need to stroke it, here are seven masturbation techniques you should try out for a little variety.

1- The cold climax
In the first of our masturbation techniques, masturbate as you normally would, but when you feel the sensation of ejaculation coming on, grab hold of some ice cubes or crushed ice with the other hand, then continue masturbating to completion. The feeling of cold in one hand, heat in the other, and the sensation of ejaculating will enhance the experience.

2- Rings around your penis
Cover both your hands with lube, and form a ring with your thumb and forefinger. Place it around the base of your penis. Slide the ring up to the base of the glans (where the head starts). Now form a ring with the fingers on your other hand and do the same thing. Keep stroking with one ring at a time until you climax.

3- The palm rubber
Once you're erect, place some lube on the inside of one hand, and rather than rub your penis with your hand, keep rubbing the tip of your penis against the palm of your hand to orgasm.

4- The ball holder
The next time you're masturbating and feel as though you're about to ejaculate, put your other hand over your scrotum and lightly squeeze and pull it down (or more aggressively, if you like that sort of thing). That way, you get to feel your semen traveling through your body, making it's way to the exit.

5- The gentle tap
Although you have to have a sensitive penis for this to work effectively, this will at least demonstrate that you don't if it doesn't work. Keep your underwear on and make yourself erect. Once you're at your fullest erectness, tap the tip of your penis with the tips of your fingers. It should take somewhat longer than usual for you to reach climax but when you do, oh yeah...

6- Screw your hand
While standing, twist your lubed-up hand (whichever you're most comfortable using) so that your thumb is against your belly button. Wrap your hand around your penis and, rather than stroke with your hand, move your pelvis to pump in and out of your hand. It'll make you feel like you're actually penetrating a vagina. Okay, maybe not.

7- The plastic bag
In your bedroom (or someone else's if you wish), fill a plastic sandwich bag with petroleum jelly and put your erect penis in the bag, squishing the jelly so that your entire penis is covered. Then, place your penis, still in the bag, between the mattress and the box spring. Pump in and out to orgasm. The best part? No mess.

Top 10: Female Sex Fantasies

If you think women don’t sit around fantasizing about very naughty things, think again. Women are experts when it comes to dreaming up the sauciest of fantasies, and they don’t bother limiting themselves to the traditional. The top 10 female sex fantasies cover everything from fetish to threesomes, and you may be surprised to know that many women want to do more than just fantasize. Some women spend just as much time hoping their men will help put their female sex fantasies into practice. Sound interesting? Read on: we'll give you the inside scoop on the top 10 female sex fantasies, and what she’s really daydreaming about when you least expect it.

Number 10

Domination (her dominating you)
Women love a big strong man who can sweep them off their feet and carry them into the sunset -- but you may be surprised to learn that one of the top female sex fantasies is to have that same big strong man begging for sexual release in the bedroom. One of the top 10 female fantasies involves tying you down to a bed while she forces you to pleasure her with your tongue; the entire scenario revolves around you worshipping her body and begging for her attention. Why? She gets to be in control while enjoying total devotion from her man in the process. What more could she want?

Number 9

Domination (you dominating her)
The advent of the metrosexual is most commonly blamed for this top 10 female sex fantasy. It seems that modern, independent women actually prefer real men who aren’t afraid to embrace their testosterone. This woman fantasizes about you pinning her down, thrusting her thighs apart with your knee and penetrating her as savagely as you possibly can. She wants to feel your fingers snake through her hair and pull her head back; she wants to feel your teeth on her shoulder; she wants to be owned -- if only while in the bedroom (after which, she’ll want a clear return to equality). This win-win female sex fantasy scenario allows her to fully indulge her femininity, while still espousing the merits of feminism.

Number 8

Teacher/student
You’ll be thrilled to know that the Britney Spears fantasy isn’t just for men: Women love the idea of dressing up like a schoolgirl and parading about for your viewing pleasure. Many would even like to take it a step further, playing the naughty tart who won’t stop teasing you until you pull her over your knee and give her the spanking she craves. That’s right: Loads and loads of grown women fantasize about getting a proper spanking from their man. A spanking from you is exciting for two reasons: not only does this mild show of dominance hurt so good, but it also usually leads straight into hot, hot sex.

Number 7

Sex with a stranger
Most women wouldn’t have the chutzpah to act out this top 10 female sex fantasy, but you’d better believe that most have thoroughly enjoyed thinking about it. No-strings-attached sex is something many women would love to experience, but most are dissuaded from it thanks to a lofty load of self-produced guilt. Nevertheless, her panties definitely get wet at the idea of a gorgeous male approaching her in a dark, smoky bar and taking her back to his room for a long, hot night of wild sex. This female sex fantasy appeals to her naughtiest side -- the kinky one that rarely sees the light of day, thanks to a lifetime of religious and societal conditioning.

Number 6

Threesome with another woman
These days, it’s fairly common for straight women to get down with other women now and again, making this top 10 female sex fantasy a not-so-unrealistic possibility. That being said, this threesome fantasy rarely involves you getting playtime with the second hottie, as most girlfriends do not want to see their man touch another woman. In this scenario, you’re meant to play voyeur until your woman is ready for something more hardcore. This allows her to experience the best of both worlds without having to worry about things like jealousy or sharing.

Number 5

Threesome with two men
This top 10 female sex fantasy involves the woman being worshipped and adored by two gorgeous men. These men are typically heterosexual and, therefore, only interested in the woman -- which translates into a whole lot of action for her. Her sex fantasy might be as innocent as being penetrated by one man while performing oral sex on the other or it might go further, drawing on more hardcore aspects such as double penetration and the like. This female sex fantasy is the ultimate taboo for many women, which makes it all the more fun to imagine.

Number 4

Voyeurism
If you think women don’t enjoy watching other people get it on, you’re completely mistaken. Your woman likes to watch for the same reasons you do: it’s erotic, exhilarating and slightly taboo. She may fantasize about peeping through the neighbor’s bedroom window, spying on a kinky couple in the park or even catching a full-on orgy from the sidelines. Believe it when we tell you she enjoys "watching" just as much as you do; it allows to her be naughty without getting her hands dirty, so to speak.

Number 3

Rape
As mentioned in our Common Female Fantasies article, rape is a massively popular fantasy among women. Most psychologists believe this top 10 female sex fantasy allows a woman to have the wild, dirty sex she craves, without having to suffer the guilt that often follows. These female sex fantasies usually involve a gorgeous man carrying her off to his bedroom and quickly getting down to business. She’ll protest as he tears her clothing off and expertly arouses her body, but on the inside, she’ll love every minute of it. This continues to the point of penetration, and leads her to an incredible orgasm despite her earlier protests. This female sex fantasy allows a woman to be wanton and enjoy sex -- something society rarely permits.

Number 2

Exhibitionism
She might cringe when you bring up the topic of making homemade porn flicks, but your woman has probably fantasized about doing precisely that at one time or another. Unfortunately, most women are far too body-conscious to experiment with such things, making this a top 10 female sex fantasy, as opposed to a reality. Believe it or not, some women even take this desire to the next level, fantasizing about others watching as you shag her silly in a public place.

Number 1

Private dancer
Most women wouldn’t have the nerve to strip in a public setting, but this top 10 female sex fantasy definitely involves taking it all off. She loves the idea of tantalizing you with a striptease, and she’d love to give you a private lap dance. Why? Your enjoyment tells her you find her attractive, and your erection tells her she has control -- a potent combination that women simply can’t get enough of.

fantasy can lead to reality
Some of these female sex fantasies may have little chance of progressing to reality with your woman, but some have more potential than you may realize. A little bit of coaxing can go a long way in terms of spicing things up in the bedroom. Ask her which of these top 10 female sex fantasies she finds most appealing, and see if she’s willing to experiment -- you may be surprised by her answer.

Top 10: Tips For Better Sex

A good sex life takes time and effort to maintain. It won’t always be easy -- our busy lives are taxing and often leave us tired and devoid of the imagination and motivation required to keep up the pace. Having good sex doesn’t necessarily mean spending hours and hours of frolicking, it can be as simple as doing something a little different just for a change.

Women are cyclic creatures, and her sex drive will vary depending on her hormones and what’s going on in her life. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to get her hot and the same-old song and dance may not be enough. This applies to you too.

Therefore, it's important to add a few more stimulating aspects to your sex life to keep things interesting.

Here are 10 tips for better sex, which should keep the two of you hot for some time to come.

Number 10

Blindfold her
Sexual pleasure has many dimensions, but the most important sexual organ we have is our brain. When one sense is hindered, our other senses -- via the brain -- clamor to compensate. For example, a deaf person has increased sensory awareness -- sight, smell, touch, and vibrations. For No. 10 entry on our 10 tips for better sex guide, we're telling you that you can tap into this innate ability of ours and use it to your advantage: Blindfolding your partner increases her sensory awareness. She doesn’t know where you are or what you are going to do next. This creates anticipation for better sex -- the tease. Tease her mercilessly with sensory objects, such as a feather or your tongue. Start off softly, as this excites her nerve endings and makes them far more sensitive. Be careful not to overstimulate the nerve endings, however, because after a while the neurons stop firing with such intensity and the sensation becomes null and void.

Number 9

Give her instructions
After a while you may think you know how to please your partner in every way, but this is very rarely true. There is always something you haven’t tried, and there is bound to be something one of you always does that could be done differently.

To combat this for better sex, have a lesson session in which you don’t think you know it all, and are at each other's mercy as teacher. Talk about things you haven’t tried, but would like to, then choose one suggestion from each partner, and get down and dirty. We often get caught thinking we know what our partners like, and after a while it becomes "the way it’s done." Lose this myth and put yourself in the student's chair for a while for better sex you won't regret.

Number 8

Massage
Sensual touch is one of the most highly relaxing and sexy things you can do for your partner, which is why it makes it onto our 10 tips for better sex list. Our bodies are almost without exception tense in some area, if not many areas. This hinders our energy flow -- including sexual energy flow. Imagine a car that has a clogged fuel filter: the fuel (our energy) can’t get to where it needs to go quickly and smoothly, and the car performs inefficiently and ineffectively.

A relaxing sensual massage can unlock her body to some very intense orgasms and much better sex in the end. The ability to relax your partner in this way should be high on your list of skills to master. The same goes for her: The difference between a deeply relaxing massage and a sensual massage is in the manner of touch -- you don’t want to relax her too deeply because she will probably fall straight to sleep. The key to better sex in this case is to keep her senses alert, but her body relaxed. This means a firm touch, coupled with some sensory feather-light caresses. Once you've relaxed her major muscles -- shoulders and back -- work your way down to her buttocks. Strokes can then start to wander near to, but not on, her inner thighs, butt crease and vagina. Don’t forget her hands and feet -- there are thousands of nerve endings in our hands and feet that are very sensitive to touch. If you have no idea what a good massage feels like or how to perform one, spend some time in "lesson time" with your partner and learn what you both like or just run your hands all over her body -- all over. Don’t skip to the hot spots or you’ll ruin the effect.

Number 7

Have her dress up
Pretending to be something you're not comes easily to some people. However, it has its benefits when done for fun. Stepping out of the role of being "yourself" can be a fun way to give each other permission to behave differently for better sex. Playing the role of someone else during sexual play is a very enjoyable way to give your partner some different sensations, and try things that you haven’t done before. Role playing is a great way to have better sex and to have fun with your partner in a light-hearted but sexy way. It is often the woman who does the dressing up simply because A) They enjoy it; and B) They have the resources of clothes, underwear and makeup -- but don't forget that you can play too..

Number 6

Tell her your fantasies
Talking about your fantasies with your partner is a very conducive form of sex play. It increases communication with your partner, which is of great importance, as well, it also helps you get to know each other better for better sex. Yes, you may be surprised by what comes out of her mouth, but this works both ways. Keep it light at first and don’t throw her in the deep end with fantasies about people you both know or reveal fetishes you aren't sure about. Sit back with a glass of wine and keep your clothes on -- for now. Fantasy play can also be incorporated into a game for better sex. Use your imagination, and keep it sexy. Take it in turns and see where it leads you.

Number 5

Play a game
Get a pack of cards and play strip poker for better sex. It may seem like something you would have done when you were in high school (given the opportunity), but adult strip poker is a good way to get naked. Once you are both naked (or nearly naked), you can start on the really fun part: A loss means the other person gets to choose what action is performed on them by the loser. Time limits like one minute on said action means that it is a prolonged game of seduction, which by the end will have you both clamoring to be both the winner and the loser. There are many other games you can play "strip" to, as long as there is regular winner and loser to reward and punish respectively. The great part about these games is that you can both ask the other person to do something in a certain way that you may not necessarily have ever done before. It can get rather filthy, and definitely lead to better sex in the end.

Number 4

Dirty talk
Talking dirty has turned people on for millennia and will continue to do so because it has something other sex play doesn’t: words. Because our brains are our largest sexual apparatus, we respond to the spoken word automatically -- especially when someone says our name. The spoken word evokes emotions, sensations and blood flow to various regions, depending on the topic.

This works very much in your favor when it comes to talking dirty to your lover because women are especially susceptible to what goes in their ears (and I don’t mean cotton buds or ear candles). Talking dirty is, however, an art form and when done badly can result in fits of giggles (which, lets face it, ain't so bad but isn't quite the goal here). Don’t let this deter you. For better sex, start off easy with neutral dirty-talk topics, such as how you feel inside her, how much you are enjoying the act and what you would like to do to her next. Don’t get too carried away, but let it flow out of you. Dirty talk can be a bit daunting at first, if you are not used to verbalizing these things, so practice. You will see how she responds to you. Dirty talk also comes under the "encouragement" category -- when she sees that you like something very much, she will be more interested in doing it more. The rawness of the sexual passion aroused with dirty talk is why it is so effective. Be careful with swearing too much -- though a good dose of foul language is part and parcel with dirty talk (its not called dirty talk for nothing), too much swearing/name calling can be a turn off. Try to stick to positive words, and leave the commonly used insult words out. Watch what you call her body parts too -- just make sure she can handle it before launching into your tirade of filth. Chances are, the passion from you will ignite hers two-fold.

Number 3

Try a new position
You already know how to bring her to orgasm in two ways (probably). You repeat these regularly because they work -- there's no harm in that. However, if you never, ever try any new positions again, how will you ever know? New positions need a reasonably high level of arousal in your lover, so choose your time to strike a new pose when she is quite obviously feeling very randy.

There is no limit to the number of ways to have sex, so you can use your imagination and come up with as many weird and wonderful inventions as you desire. Simply changing locations can dramatically change the position, so consider this too (for example on top of the washing machine, on a bench, beanbag or table).

Number 2

Use a cock ring
Cock rings slow the drain of blood out of your erection, and keep you harder for longer. A very hard penis stimulates a woman’s insides slightly differently -- and much better -- than one that is getting soft around the edges. Cock rings are inexpensive and usually nice to look at, and make an interesting male sex toy to add to your collection. Cock rings ensure that you can maintain the pace without faltering for better sex. This is very pleasing to your lady friend.

Number 1

Try a new place
Sex in a new locale is definitely up there in exciting things to do for better sex. You can take a drive somewhere secluded where you can get a bit risqué. Try a public place (not too public) or simply move to a different room or area in your home -- or even someone else’s home. Whatever tickles your fancy. There are a million and one different places to have sex other than your home, in your bed -- use them.

increase your pleasure
The list of helpful hints you have been presented with equates to a very good head start to a better sex life. The time and energy required to plan your adventures will pay off immediately, but also over the longer term. You will be rewarded according to the effort you put in with a great new skill set, and of course better sex. Make time, conserve some energy for it and relax. Life is short!

Penis Health Care

The penis is easily a man’s most guarded and revered appendage. As such, the penis commands a level of care and respect. We're all familiar with the importance of wearing condoms in certain situations, but proper penis health care certainly doesn't end there. Let’s review some tips on penis health care that will keep you -- and your unit -- rising happily each morning.

regular maintenance

Grooming
For many men, genital grooming is a simple part of their penis health care routine, while for others it may be nothing more than a part-time annoyance. Keeping genitals hairless does have its benefits, but there are still definite pitfalls to both shaving and waxing that might not be immediately apparent:

Pros

Improves cleanliness/reduces moisture.

Inviting/sexually stimulating.

Can increase sensitivity during sex.

Facilitates skin examination.

Can be a fun partner experience.

Makes you look bigger.

Cons

Tedious.

Painful (waxing).

Expensive (waxing).

Can cause irritation.

Can cause new or spread existing infection.

Some women find a polished man erotic and even the act of shaving can be incorporated into foreplay -- with the right gal, of course. You should know, however, that both shaving and waxing can cause irritation or folliculitis, and can spread viral infections, such as genital herpes or molloscum contagiosum. Even nasty bacterial infections, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, have been linked to the use of razors, more specifically, the sharing of razors amongst sports participants (guys, sometimes sharing is bad). All of this contradicts good penis health care.

If you wish to avoid shaving or waxing, a simple trim with scissors or an electric razor is always a safe bet. If you choose to groom, however, which weapons should you choose? You’re probably best off using a simple razor with mild shaving cream or soap followed by mild moisturizing aftershave lotion or warm salt water. Avoid chemical removal techniques and electric razors if you're opting to take it all off, as with both you risk wreaking havoc on your scrotum. Lastly, you may choose to wax. Wait… what? According to USA Today, male resistance to waxing is literally “melting away,” so while there’s no need to feel ashamed of a little waxing as part of your penis health care, just know that it can be expensive and painful.

Washing
Your member is a sensitive organ, a point that should always be kept in mind during penis health care. For some odd reason, many men feel the need to vigorously scrub their units with powerful soaps or disinfectants to keep clean. Guys, simple washing with warm water and, if necessary, a mild soap or non-soap cleanser (such as sorbolene or glycerine cream) is more than satisfactory. Uncircumcised men should slide the foreskin back and wash the head of the exposed penis simply with warm water, not soap. Then, be sure to dry the area very well.

Both infrequent and too-frequent washing have been associated with balanitis (an inflammation of the glans penis or head). If you do notice irritation, avoid scented soaps or shower gels and try warm salt water instead. New clothes or even new laundry detergents can also cause irritation. If irritation persists, see a doctor.

self-examination
Particularly when sexually active, men should regularly perform genital self-examination to identify testicular cancer or any sexually transmitted infections (STIs) that present themselves visibly. How regularly? Well, there is no golden rule, but once a month should be satisfactory.

For testicular cancer, the American Cancer Society recommends the following:

Once a month, after taking a bath or shower:

Examine each testicle individually.

With both hands, hold the testicle between your thumbs and fingers and roll it gently.

Be on the alert for any hard lumps or nodules (smooth rounded masses) or any change in the size, shape or consistency of your testes.

Do not mistake the epididymis (a tightly coiled tube on the upper, outer side of each testicle) or the blood vessels and spermatic cord that extend from the testicles as being cancer.

Not only is regular testicular examination a good way to catch testicular cancer early, but it also provides an opportunity to examine the penis and testicles for signs of an STI.

red flags
There are many red flags for STIs. Be vigorous in your self-examinations and know that certain STIs, such as chlamydia, can be completely asymptomatic -- meaning that you may show absolutely no identifiable signs or symptoms of infection. In such cases, it’s important that you keep an open channel of communication with your sexual partners. If your partner develops an STI, there may be a chance that you gave it to them without knowing.

The American Academy of Family Physicians highlights some of the major signs and symptoms of common STIs that you should be on the lookout for:

Discharge from the penis: the drip could be thick and yellow or it could be watery and very slight.

Change in smell (including foul odor) or color of semen.

Blood in the semen or urine (dark color).

Pain during sex or when urinating or ejaculating.

Pain in the pelvic area.

Chancre sores (painless red sores) on the genital area, anus, tongue, and/or throat.

Flesh-colored or reddish bumps, sores or blisters on the skin of the genitals that may or may not itch.

Small blisters that turn into scabs on the genital area.

Soft, flesh-colored, cauliflower-like warts around the genital area.

In addition, many STIs, particularly viral infections like HIV or herpes, induce symptoms similar to the flu that may serve as early indicators of infection. If you notice a sore throat, swollen glands, fever or body aches in the weeks following unprotected sex, you may want to consider following up with an STI check just to be sure.

Lastly, don’t panic if you do notice something unusual. Pearly penile papules found around the rim of the head of the penis are no need for alarm. Similarly, pimples or irritation from shaving are normal. If you are unsure, it’s always best to see a doctor first, to understand what is and isn’t normal. Waiting is the worst thing you can do. If you are a little bashful, just remember: Every man has a penis! Man up and go see a doctor.

Male sexual and reproductive organs

Sexual and Reproductive Anatomy

External male genitals

The external male genitals consist of the penis and the scrotum.

The penis is a cylindrical structure with the capacity to be flaccid or erect. The penis provides passage for both urine and semen. It can be a source of pleasure in response to sexual stimulation and is the organ that penetrates the mouth, vagina, or anus during penetrative sex. The head of the penis, the glans (glans penis), is the part of the penis that is most sensitive and has the most nerve endings. The glans is covered by the foreskin, or prepuce, in men who are not circumcised.

The scrotum is a pouch of skin hanging directly under the penis that contains the testes. They are highly innervated and sensitive to touch and pressure. The testes produce testosterone,
which is responsible for the development of male sexual characteristics and sex drive (libido).

The epididymides are the two highly coiled tubes against the back side of the testes where sperm mature and are stored until they are released during ejaculation.

The vasa deferentia are the paired tubes that carry the mature sperm from the epididymides
to the urethra.

The seminal vesicles are a pair of glandular sacs that secrete about 60% of the fluid that makes up the semen in which sperm are transported. Seminal fluid provides nourishment for sperm.

The prostate gland is a walnut-sized, glandular structure that secretes about 30% of the fluid that makes up semen. The alkaline quality of the fluid neutralizes the acidic environment of the male and female reproductive tracts. A muscle at the bottom of the prostate gland keeps the sperm out of the urethra until ejaculation begins. The prostate gland is very sensitive to stimulation and can be a source of sexual pleasure for some men.

The Cowper’s glands are two pea-sized glands at the base of the penis under the prostate gland
that secrete a clear alkaline fluid into the urethra during sexual arousal and before orgasm and ejaculation. This structure, which becomes covered with hair during puberty, protects the internal sexual and reproductive organs.

The clitoris is an erectile, hooded organ at the upper joining of the labia that contains a high concentration of nerve endings and is very sensitive to stimulation. The clitoris is the only anatomical organ whose sole function is providing sexual pleasure.

The labia majora are two spongy folds of skin, one on either side of the vaginal opening, that cover and protect the genital structures. (The area covered by the labia minora that includes the openings to the vagina and urethra, as well as the Bartholin’s and Skene’s glands,
is called the vestibule.)

The perineum is a network of muscles located between and surrounding the vagina and the anus that support the pelvic cavity and help keep pelvic organs in place.

Internal female genitals

The internal female genitals are: the vagina, the cervix, the uterus, the fallopian tubes, and the ovaries.

The vagina is a muscular, highly expandable, tubular cavity leading from the vestibule to the uterus. The vagina is the structure penetrated during vaginal intercourse, and it also serves as an exit channel for menstrual flow. During vaginal intercourse, contact with this structure provides sexual pleasure in some women. The anterior vaginal wall is more densely innervated and more highly sensitive to stimulation than the posterior vaginal wall.

The Bartholin’s glands are two small, round structures, one on either side of the vaginal opening. These glands secrete a mucus-like fluid during sexual arousal, providing vaginal lubrication.

The Grafenberg spot,

or G-spot, is a small area (about 1 to 2 cm) on the front wall of the vagina (closest to the bladder and urethra), about halfway between the pelvic bone and the cervix, that is especially sensitive to sexual stimulation in some women and may be the source of a small amount of fluid ejaculated at orgasm. If stimulated, this area becomes engorged. The G-spot has no known function for women except as a source of sexual stimulation. After stimulation of the G-spot, some women report temporary difficulty urinating, which may be due to the swelling that creates pressure on the urethra.

The cervix (the lower part of the uterus that protrudes into the vaginal canal) has an orifice that allows passage for menstrual flow from the uterus and passage of sperm into the uterus. During vaginal intercourse, contact with this structure may provide sexual pleasure in some women.

The uterus is a hollow, thick-walled, pear-shaped, muscular organ located between the bladder and rectum. It is the site for implantation of the fertilized ovum (egg), the location where the fetus develops during pregnancy, and the structure that sheds its lining monthly during menstruation. The upper portion of the uterus contracts during orgasm.

The fallopian tubes (oviducts) are a pair of tubes that extend from the upper uterus, extending out toward the ovaries (but not touching them), through which ova (eggs) travel from the ovaries toward the uterus and in which
fertilization of the ovum takes place. The fallopian tubes contract during orgasm.

The ovaries are two organs located at the end of each fallopian tube, that produce ova (releasing one per month from puberty to menopause). The ovaries produce estrogen and progesterone, the hormones responsible for the development of sex characteristics. These hormones are also responsible for elasticity of the genitalia, integrity of the vaginal lining, and lubrication of the genitalia. Testosterone is also produced—although in smaller amounts than is produced in men—and is responsible for sexual desire.
